Infusing Technology into the Middle School Classroom
By middle school, most students have used technology in their classroom, however, much of this technology is limited to word processing, researching on the internet and creating PowerPoints. In this session we will go beyond word processing and PowerPoints and use tools made for creating, sharing and collaborating.
Students today need to use technology in order to learn, it is their language. It is no longer an option whether to use technology or not, it is a necessity for today's 21st century learners.
It is important to remember that it is not about the tools, it's about how we usethe tools.
“The more content is manipulated, the more likely it is understood and remembered."
